Job Description

Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Database Engineer with over 10 years of experience to provide technical expertise in database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, and data flow analysis. The role involves developing relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software. The Database Engineer (DBE) will be responsible for making trade-offs among data volumes, user counts, response times, retention rules, and security controls, while working through the entire lifecycle from requirements to system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC).

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with installation and patching related to:

• Oracle Database
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Oracle Data Guard
• Linux OS
• Linux Commands
• Bash Scripting

Desired skills include experience with MongoDB.

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is $208K-$214K (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational requirements.
