Job Description

We are looking to widen our base of contractors in the area and working this event could lead to further opportunities for future event assignments. We are specifically seeking videographers for an upcoming showcase tournament in Wilkes-Barre, PA, taking place from April 10, 2026, to April 12, 2026. Game times will vary from starting as early as 7am to as late as 9pm. The venue for this event is the Toyota Sportsplex located at 38 Coal St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. The rate of pay is $250 per day.

Requirements

Applicants must be based locally in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The position entails providing quality filming of hockey games that will be streamed live on FloHockey. Candidates should be prepared to be set up and ready to film 60 minutes before game start time, and work closely with the on-site engineer to ensure a high-quality broadcast. Some setup and breakdown of equipment may be required, including taping down cables for safety. All equipment must be maintained in good working order, and you may need to troubleshoot issues with the on-site engineer or pick up replacement equipment as needed.

Experience playing hockey or a solid knowledge of the sport is highly preferred. Familiarity with video and audio production is a plus. The ability to work early mornings and late nights is essential as games start as early as 7am and may end as late as 11pm. Please note that this position requires standing for extended periods in cold ice arenas. Applicants must indicate their availability for the event dates in their application.
