Job Description

This is a remote position. The Application Developer designs, builds, tests, and maintains software applications for web, mobile, or desktop platforms. They translate user requirements into functional code, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance, often working in agile teams to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions throughout the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Coding, testing, and implementing applications using languages like Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Design & Architecture: Creating application prototypes, designing user interfaces, and planning technical workflows.
• Maintenance & Updates: Evaluating existing applications, updating systems, fixing bugs, and improving performance.
• Collaboration: Working with team members, designers, and clients to refine specifications and meet project deadlines.
• Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation, including technical handbooks and user manuals.
• Security & Testing: Running unit tests and ensuring applications meet security best practices.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or Swift.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and frontend/backend frameworks.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for teamwork and documenting technical processes.

Typical Experience

Junior Roles: 0–2 years of experience. Mid-Level/Senior Roles: Often require 3–8+ years of experience, with some roles requiring 8–11 years for high-level specialized positions.
