We are looking for a UI/UX designer to help create an interactive virtual onboarding experience for Smollan. The project involves designing a digital, immersive environment where new employees can navigate through branded virtual zones, accessing information, videos, and documents as they move through the experience. The design should be intuitive, visually aligned to our corporate brand, and make onboarding more engaging and memorable. You will work mainly on UI/UX design—including user journey, look and feel, screen layouts, navigation, and interactions—while ensuring that the platform remains user-friendly. Experience with 3DVista, virtual tours, or immersive digital experiences is an advantage. We are searching for a design partner who can shape the experience and make our concept visually compelling for our employees.

Project Brief: UI/UX Designer for Interactive Virtual Onboarding Experience Project overview We are looking for a talented UI/UX designer to help us design an interactive virtual onboarding experience for our business. The concept is a digital, immersive environment where users can enter a virtual Smollan space and navigate through different zones, such as the building entrance, history wall, key business areas, and onboarding touchpoints. Each area should feel engaging, intuitive, and visually polished, while also serving a practical onboarding purpose. What we want to create The experience should feel like an interactive virtual journey rather than a static website. Users should be able to:

• enter a branded virtual environment
• click through different rooms, spaces, or hotspots
• open information, videos, documents, or other content as they move through the experience
• easily understand where to go next and how to interact with the platform The goal is to make onboarding more engaging, modern, and memorable for new employees. Scope of work We need support primarily on the UI/UX design side, including:
• designing the user journey and overall experience flow
• creating the look and feel of the virtual environment
• designing screen layouts, navigation, buttons, hotspots, and interactions
• ensuring the platform is intuitive and easy to use
• aligning the design to our company branding
• advising on best-practice design for an immersive onboarding experience If you also have experience designing for 3DVista, virtual tours, or immersive digital experiences, that would be a strong advantage. Deliverables expected Please indicate whether you would be able to provide:
• concept designs / creative direction
• wireframes
• high-fidelity UI designs
• clickable prototype or mock-up
• asset guidance for development/build
• recommendations on how the experience should be structured for the best user journey Preferred experience We are ideally looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following:

• onboarding, learning, or employee experience design
• strong visual storytelling and interaction design Style and feel The experience should feel:

• polished and professional
• interactive and engaging
• easy to navigate
• visually aligned to a corporate brand
