Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team for a 3-week contract working on DirtView, an innovative field-first construction platform. As the sole designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and efficient designs for both web and mobile applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely, with a preference for candidates able to align with US EST and PST time zones.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping web and mobile product design.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with complex workflows and state-based UIs.
• Active use of AI design tools and fast iteration.
• Ability to produce wireframes to specifications within the same day.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with construction or field service SaaS.
• Previous work designing annotation tools or PDF viewers.
• Skills in responsive mobile-first design for one-handed use.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a drawing viewer with annotation and measurement features.
• Develop a drag-and-drop form builder with 21 components.
• Create RFI/submittal approval workflows.
• Design user-friendly interfaces for crew scheduling, timelog, and employee management.
• Develop an internal admin dashboard and notifications system.
• Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure seamless design handoff.

Budget: $2,000 - $4,000

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
