Job Description

Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team who has experience with managing large data sets and testing software components. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems, working both individually and as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components, resolving software problem reports, and providing specific input to software component design.

Requirements

• Eight (8) years’ experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Information Technology.
• One (1) year of coding experience with Python.

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $206K (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
