Job Description

The Collier Companies is seeking a Videographer to utilize their video filming and editing skills for creating professional videos in training, marketing, and various essential video outlets for both internal and external company use. This role requires travel to different regions in the southeastern United States to meet the company’s video needs. The Videographer will be based at The Collier Companies Florida Home Office in Gainesville.

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience in videography and video editing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio REQUIRED (must include work you personally shot and edited).
  • Flexibility in thinking to accomplish goals.
  • Experience creating content for multiple platforms (marketing, social, training) preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging video content specifically for training and digital learning environments.

Day to Day

  • Advise team on needs and costs for all projects including static and variable equipment costs.
  • Shoot high-quality video on location.
  • Edit and color-grade footage to professional standards.
  • Manage audio clarity and sound design.
  • Collaborate to ensure videos meet brand and storytelling goals.
  • Deliver polished final assets ready for distribution internally and externally.
  • Schedule is dependent upon assignment and fluctuates with business needs.
  • Support video projects from idea to completion (including storyboarding and pre-production planning).
  • Translate existing content into short modules intended for digital learning and training.
