Job Description

Avanciers Incorporated is hiring a Senior UX Designer for one of our clients in Toronto, ON. This is an onsite contract position with a duration of 18+ months. The application deadline is April 10, 2026, but may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found.

The Senior UX Designer will apply user-centered design principles and UX best practices to deliver mobile-first, responsive solutions. The role involves leveraging iterative design approaches and Agile methodologies to ensure usability, accessibility, and alignment with product goals.

The successful candidate will lead user research and usability testing activities, develop interview scripts, synthesize findings, and produce actionable research reports to inform design decisions. They will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and Agile teams to manage product delivery across discovery, design, and implementation phases, addressing change management challenges and ensuring timely project progression.

Utilizing industry-standard UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, and InVision, the designer will create wireframes, prototypes, and design solutions while effectively communicating concepts, insights, and recommendations to technical and business audiences.

Requirements

Qualifications for the Senior UX Designer position include:

- Extensive experience applying user-centered design principles and UX best practices.

- Proficiency with industry-standard UX and prototyping tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, and InVision.

- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, coupled with strong analytical skills for synthesizing findings and creating actionable reports.

- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage product delivery through Agile methodologies.
