App Developer is needed in Australia.

We are Down to Fish Australia, and we’ve been developing a community app for fishing enthusiasts. Our app is live on both iOS and Android, built using Swift/Xcode with a Supabase backend. Most of the work is complete, but we are seeking a freelance developer to help implement UI updates based on existing Figma designs, and to expand the app to support a new user type: spearfishing. This will involve duplicating core functionality and UI logic to keep fishing and spearfishing as distinct user groups within the same app, with content filtered accordingly. You will have access to the existing codebase, Supabase project, and Figma files, and can work remotely but ideally within Australia for potential in-person collaboration. We’re looking for a senior developer with experience in iOS, Supabase, and maintaining an existing codebase, for a flexible but staged delivery, and the possibility of ongoing work.

About the client
Hey all, we have been building an app with a team over seas the last 1.5 years. We have the app pretty much where we want it, it is a fishing community connection app. We are looking to swap to a freelance developer that we can meet in person and run over ideas/paperwork with as we believe meeting someone in person which we did not get to do for the build itself as we had it built overseas would be very beneficial to us. We are just looking to tidy the app up around the edges and add the final part to the app which is the spearfishing side. Which can look identical to the current app just duplicated and swap anything with the term fishing to spearfishing. So 2 platforms within the one app. 98% of the work is complete in the fishing sector just need to tidy a few things up and then smash out the spearfishing side. We are looking for someone to work with on going for updates etc. It’s a promising app with a lot of potential, hence why myself and my wife are wanting to meet someone and build a relationship with to have the app looking the best it can be and slowing the best it can be.
