Colourist is needed in Haridwar, India.
I am working on a creative and authentic documentary film called Take Me to the River, which is focused on human resilience, cultural memory, and the connections between communities and their environments. The project has been filmed over more than a decade at significant festivals like the Kumbh and the annual Magh Mela, and has received recognition at Docedge Kolkata 2024. I am looking for a colourist who truly understands the essence of colour grading to bring out the documentary’s visual style. The role is for a self-produced film that seeks a skilled professional to deliver strong and thoughtful colour work.

About the client
I am Dipesh Chandra, a documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Riviere Films. My work explores human resilience, cultural memory, and the relationship between communities and their environments. I am currently directing Take Me to the River, an international documentary on existential crisis unfolding in the backdrop of the Kumbh and the annual Magh Mela, filmed from 2013 to 2025. I am a 2024 fellow at Docedge Kolkata under the Asian Forum for Documentary.
