Lead Architect, (acting CTO) – Trade Intelligence Platform

We are Prime Leo Enterprises, building Africa’s first comprehensive trade intelligence platform focused on mapping and optimizing AfCFTA corridors. The aim is to create a real-time intelligence layer for logistics, procurement, and supply chain forensics, replacing fragmented spreadsheets with a predictive, agent-powered ecosystem. We already have a 24-month business plan and strategic roadmap, and we’re seeking a technical leader; specifically, an acting CTO who can take full ownership of the product build. This includes defining the MVP architecture, designing scalable multi-source data ingestion, implementing AI agents to automate procurement workflows, and eventually scaling the engineering team, starting with our hubs in Nigeria and South Africa.

The Vision
We are building Africa’s first comprehensive trade intelligence platform designed to map and optimize the AfCFTA corridors. While the policy for intra-African trade exists, the data infrastructure does not. We are filling that void by creating a real-time intelligence layer for logistics, procurement, and supply chain forensics. The Foundation I bring 13+ years of experience in FMCG/Retail supply chain and finance to define the logic and “ground-truth” requirements. The Problem: African trade data is currently siloed, fragmented, and manual. We are moving it from spreadsheets to a predictive, agentic ecosystem. The Tech Stack & Challenges (The “Why You?”)
We aren’t just building a dashboard; we are building a complex data pipeline that requires: Multi-Source Data Ingestion: Aggregating disparate data from numerous sources. Agentic AI: Implementing AI agents to automate procurement workflows and risk-assessment modeling. Scalable Architecture: A platform capable of handling cross-border trade intelligence across 54 nations with high reliability. The Goal
I’ve laid the groundwork with a 24-month business plan and established the strategic roadmap. I’m looking for a technical leader to own the product build, from defining the MVP architecture to scaling the engineering team across our initial hubs in Nigeria and South Africa.
