It requires production that captures deep, vulnerable themes in atmospheric, cinematic, and indie-pop soundscapes, blending genres for both energetic and meditative tracks. Focus will be on vocal layering, lush textures, and unique shimmering effects. Project Description:
I am a vocalist, songwriter, and Creative Director of MG Production Co., currently based in Palawan, Philippines. I am seeking a collaborative, freelance music producer to help bring my 12-track conceptual album, “Moongirl,” to life.
The album explores the “Moongirl” as a shapeshifter—moving through phases of the moon and manifesting as sirens, fairies, and ethereal beings. The sonic landscape needs to be as transformative as the moon itself. I’m looking for someone who can translate deep, vulnerable themes into high-production soundscapes that inspire action and soul-connection.
The Aesthetic:
• Genre: Indie-Pop meets Cinematic/Ambient. Think AURORA meets FKA Twigs with a touch of 90s/Y2K experimentalism.
• Vibe: Atmospheric, ethereal, and rhythmically grounded. We are moving from “Butterfly Power” anthems to deep, meditative “Crystal Geode” soundscapes.
• Core Elements: Strong focus on vocal layering, lush textures, and unexpected “shimmering” production details.
Who You Are:
• You are an “Atmospheric Alchemist” who can capture raw ideas and turn them into polished, multidimensional tracks.
• You are comfortable with genre-bending and don’t feel the need to stay in a creative “box.”
• You are available for remote collaboration (or in-person if based in Palawan/Philippines).
• You prioritize Vulnerability as a strength in production.
Scope of Work:
• Initial production and arrangement of demo tracks.
• Full sound design and mixing.
• (Optional) On-call availability for sudden “5 AM Adrenaline” creative downloads.
