Job Description
VitalProspects is seeking a Web Designer who loves design, enjoys client interaction, and wants to take full ownership of projects. In this role, after the sales team closes a client, the Web Designer will conduct discovery sessions and transform business concepts into visually appealing, functional websites. Responsibilities include designing in Figma, utilizing AI tools like Claude Code and SiteDrop for rapid drafts, building sites in Webflow, and maintaining client relationships post-launch.
Requirements
- Design Eye: Ability to focus on typography, spacing, hierarchy, and overall polish.
- Figma: Proficiency in creating wireframes, layouts, and responsive designs.
- Webflow: Previous experience or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Client Communication: Maintain a calm, clear, and professional demeanor during calls and via Slack.
- Ownership Mentality: Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks without needing specific direction.
- AI-Forward: Eagerness to utilize AI tools like Claude Code and SiteDrop AI to improve efficiency.
Nice-to-Haves
- A portfolio showcasing student work, personal projects, or freelance work.
- Exposure to HTML/CSS or basic web concepts.
- Copywriting skills or comfort in editing client-supplied content.
- Experience in client work or customer service roles.
Compensation
- First 30 days: 1099 contractor with a 5% commission on all completed projects.
- After 30 days: A salary of $60,000/year plus a 2% commission on every project designed and delivered.
Tools You’ll Use
Figma, SiteDrop AI, Webflow, Claude Code, ClickUp, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, Calendly, Google Workspace, and 1Password.
Ownership
All client websites and deliverables are owned by VitalProspects. Designers are free to showcase their work in personal portfolios with credit given to VitalProspects.
