Job Description

We are seeking a talented and reliable Freelance Videographer to film hair salon content in Orange County. This is a shoot-only role where you will capture footage and upload raw files. All creative direction and shot lists are provided, so there’s no pressure to plan or edit, just focus on capturing great footage!

Requirements

Duties

• Film engaging footage at salon locations, capturing stylist techniques, consultation clips, process shots, client transformations from start to finish, and ambiance.
• Capture before & after photos + videos.
• Upload all footage after the shoot.
• Capture B-roll and stylist action shots.
• Follow shot list provided by Eshi Media.
• Maintain and upload organized project files with timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of composition, framing, and lighting.
• Friendly and professional with clients.
• Strong portfolio showcasing similar work.
• Able to shoot clean vertical video (Reels / TikTok).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced salon environments.
• Able to move quickly and capture key moments.
• Reliable and punctual (non-negotiable).

Equipment Requirements

• Must own a DSLR or mirrorless camera with at least a 35mm lens.
• Must know how to properly operate and handle camera equipment.

Additional equipment (can be provided or rented if needed):

• Tripod.
• Lavalier microphone.

**Note: If Eshi Media equipment is used, videographers are responsible for proper handling and may be liable for any damages.

Important Information

• This is a content shooter role only (no editing required).
• All communication is handled through Eshi Media (not directly with salons).
• Paid in-person training is required after hiring.
• Must have a flexible schedule for both training and shoots, as dates may change based on salon scheduling.
