We are seeking a logo redesign for our nonprofit, Spur n Up Hope. Our organization helps veterans, at-risk youth, and people in recovery experience healing through equine-assisted learning. The new logo should be a clean, professional wordmark that integrates a horseshoe and heart directly into the typography, not as separate icons. Creativity in letter integration is key, such as using the horseshoe as part of a letter and weaving the heart into the text itself. The logo needs to communicate the connection between a horse, a child, and hope, conveying healing, trust, and emotional connection through equine work. The overall design should be clean, modern, and professional—avoiding rustic or cartoonish styles—with a preference for minimalist or refined line work. The primary focus is on the text ‘Spur n Up Hope,’ and the imagery should be embedded within it. Subtle horse and child elements may be included through silhouette, line work, or negative space, and the heart should feel intentional and integrated. The logo must incorporate the tagline ‘Where horses are the teachers and hope is the lesson,’ which should be readable and placed cleanly beneath or next to the main name but remain secondary. Typography should be easy to read, balanced, scalable, with custom or semi-custom lettering preferred over standard fonts. The final design must work in black and white as well as color, be scalable for various uses, and delivered as vector files (AI, SVG, PNG, JPG). We would like to see 2–3 distinct concepts and include revision rounds. The tone should be hopeful but grounded and professional enough for donors and partners, without feeling childish. Please avoid clipart icons, overly busy designs, and separating symbols from the text. All elements should feel like one cohesive mark.
