Job Description:

We’re looking for a freelance videographer to shoot direct-response video ads for service-based businesses (e.g., tree care, landscaping, concrete). This role focuses on performance-driven content, involving simple and structured video styles such as talking head videos with non-professional actors (business owners) and high-quality b-roll. The role requires being personable and helping inexperienced individuals look good on camera.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Filming business owners speaking directly to the camera.
• Following clear, proven ad scripts (hook → problem → solution → CTA).
• Capturing clean audio and stable footage using a gimbal.
• Guiding non-actors to deliver strong on-camera performances.
• Shooting high-quality b-roll of the client, their team, and their work.

What We’re Looking For:

• You own a gimbal (required).
• Teleprompter experience or access (preferred).
• Experience filming commercial or ad-style content.
• Ability to direct and coach everyday people on camera.
• Reliable, professional, and easy to work with.

What This Is NOT:

• Not weddings.
• Not music videos.
• Not cinematic storytelling.

We are specifically looking for someone who understands performance-driven content and can execute clean, effective shoots.

Pay & Schedule:

• $35/hour during initial training period, increasing to $50/hour once fully onboarded.
• Typical shoots are 4–5 hours (minimum of 4 hours of pay if completed quicker).
• A few projects per month to start, with strong potential to scale.
