I’m developing a short proof-of-concept film for a TV drama series based on a true story titled The Unspoken Truth. The project follows a Ghanaian family navigating betrayal, false accusations, and the long-term impact of injustice across multiple timelines. The proof of concept will focus on a key scene set in 1991, capturing an emotionally charged moment that establishes the tone for the wider series. I’m looking for a casting director or casting assistant to support the casting process, including reviewing self-tape submissions, shortlisting actors, and assisting with final selections for lead and supporting roles. This is an independent project currently in development, with strong creative direction and growing industry interest. The story has already gained significant audience engagement, reaching over 7.7 million views across digital platforms. Filming will take place in London. I’m looking to collaborate with someone who understands the importance of authentic, natural performances and is interested in working on a meaningful, character-driven project. This role has potential for further collaboration as the project develops. Budget is limited, but I am open to discussing a fee based on experience.
