Job Description

CoinGecko is a global leader in tracking cryptocurrency data, with a mission to improve mainstream awareness, adoption, and education of cryptocurrency. The company seeks to build a foundation to scale cryptocurrency market data to serve billions. The position offers a salary of RM 6,475 and involves enhancing the digital and social presence of CoinGecko’s product and brand, along with various marketing and content production tasks.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3-6 months of relevant work or internship experience in marketing. A strong interest in channels like social media, content, or email marketing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant fields is a plus.
• Marketing Foundations: Basic knowledge of market research, copywriting, storytelling, design (e.g., Adobe, Canva), branding, UI/UX (e.g., Figma), HTML/CSS, and analytics (e.g., GSheets, Google Analytics, SQL).
• Domain Knowledge: Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets. An understanding of user needs and trending market topics is expected.
• Bias to Action: Proactive and eager to improve skills. Comfortable asking for advice and applying new learnings.
• Operational Excellence: Attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and quality, with timely execution of tasks.
• Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: Data-driven decision-making with a willingness to consider better ideas from others.
• Entrepreneurial: Self-motivated, resourceful, and creative with a determination to move projects forward.
• Excellent Communicator: Fluency in written and spoken English with the ability to build working relationships.
