Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join us in building scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services. You’ll work closely with our product manager and frontend engineers to design and deliver APIs and systems that power our web and mobile apps.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and modern frameworks.

• Own critical parts of the system architecture and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Collaborate with frontend engineers and the product manager to deliver new features.

• Implement best practices for testing, monitoring, CI/CD, and deployment.

• Work with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc.) in a serverless environment.

• Optimize data flows, API performance, and system security.

Requirements

• +3 years of backend engineering experience with Node.js and serverless architectures.

• Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring tools.

• Good knowledge of security best practices for backend development.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
