Job Description

Seeking two (2) freelance Jr. Content Creators to capture professional and UGC content aboard and in the environment of Private and Shared Day Charter operations from Ko Olina Marina and Ala Wai Boat Harbor. Candidates must have experience producing content that reflects warm, cinematic, authentic Hawaiian energy. Great communication and time management is required. Reliable vehicle required as you will be capturing content from areas in Waikiki or Ko Olina.

Rate will be based on experience and ability of candidate. This is a Jr. position fitting for young photographers, content creators, videographers. We require three (3) sessions per month roughly lasting 2-3 hours of time aboard our vessels, offices, or dockside. These three sessions will be coordinated and managed to allow the candidate to capture targeted content in and or around our team. At times the candidate may be eligible to bring a guest. Hired creators will be paid monthly to sail, snorkel, swim, eat and cruise.

Requirements

• Ability to capture different types of digital content (stills, video)
• Ability to produce short videos, convert files, and share compressed data
• Own appropriate gear to capture the experiences (DSLR, GoPro, Phone, etc.)
• 1 year of experience producing content (personally or commercially)

What to Expect

• Capture the experience on the water through on-boat photography and video: sunsets, snorkeling, whale watches, fishing, private charters, crew moments
• Short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok — trending formats, real moments, not staged content
• Guest testimonials and crew features — interview-style content that tells a story through real people
• Asset organization — build and maintain a library of photo/video assets for reuse across platforms

• Are a natural on camera and behind one — mobile or pro gear, you get the shot
• Produce quality = less is more, one good image beats ten mediocre ones
• Understand the importance of respect and cultural sensitivity

Responsibilities

• Produce Targeted Content within 7 days of any session
• Review and respond to emails / calls in a timely manner
• Have a flexible schedule to join different charters and cruises
• Communicate clearly in a briefing of each session
• Work in office and around resort and marina, and aboard a boat
• Drive vehicle as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per month
