Senior AWS/Java Developer

_This is an onsite position

_We are not considering Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements for this position

• The client is looking to hire an AWS/Java developer with 8-10 years of software development experience.
• This role involves close collaboration with the data modernization teams at ITD and the client to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with their technical requirements and business objectives.

Requirements

• Proficient in using various AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue Crawlers, Athena) to build and manage cloud - Required 5 Years
• Experience in software development with hands-on skills in Java - strong Java, J2EE, Java Spring framework & hibernate technology. - Required 7 Years
• Experience in modernizing applications, including refactoring, migration, and cloud-native development. - Required 5 Years
• Knowledge of modern database technologies and strategies for migrating and modernizing database systems. - Required 5 Years
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools. - Required 5 Years
• Experience with data analytics, business intelligence solutions (like Power BI or AWS QuickSight). - Nice to have 2 Years
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. - Required 7 Years
• Experience working with creating AWS ETL jobs, data pipelines with high volumes of data. - Required 3 Years
• AWS Certification. - Nice to have
• State Government experience. - Nice to have

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $52.00 - $54.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
