We are a small indie production company based in downtown Oakland preparing for the premiere of Reality Games, an independent feature film launching at the Victoria Theater in San Francisco on May 16, followed by an after-party and a week of community screenings. The film explores topics like disinformation, deepfakes, and the impact of the internet on society, appealing to Gen-Z as well as a broader audience. We want to build a strong brand and online presence, target and engage our Bay Area audience, retarget invited groups, grow and nurture our social media followers, and gather real audience feedback through content creation, social listening, influencer engagement, and active audience participation. The focus is on organic socials, SEO, and content, but bonus points if you can support paid ads, editing and street team efforts. You will work with a range of creative assets, behind-the-scenes footage, historical content, and an existing mailing list and follower base. We expect you to help create, manage, and adapt content, drive engagement, and advise on strategy to maximize ticket sales and brand growth ahead of and during the film’s release.
