Job Description

This is a remote position for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect (MC Advanced Cross Channel, Salesforce Platform) with over 10 years of experience. This is a contract role and requires immediate joiners. Applicants with less than 10 years of experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture Solution Design: Define target architecture for Data Cloud including Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), Calculated Insights, Identity Resolution rules, and Data Spaces. Map source systems to a unified profile and establish a golden record strategy with matching and survivorship rules. Design real-time and batch ingestion patterns.

2. Data Ingestion Harmonization: Architect connectors and define harmonization involving schema mapping, unification, transformations, and enrichment models. Implement consent preference models aligned with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.

3. Identity Resolution Profile Unification: Design identity graphs and define survivorship logic. Optimize profile stitching performance, data quality, and monitoring.

4. Segmentation, Activation Personalization: Architect audience segmentation and enable activation to downstream channels. Define eventing patterns for triggers based on user interactions.

5. Governance, Security Compliance: Implement Data Spaces, classify data, and establish security measures while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

6. DevOps, Observability Operations: Set up CI/CD and define monitoring and alerting for pipelines and jobs. Create runbooks and disaster recovery procedures.

7. Stakeholder Management Delivery: Translate business goals into architectural blueprints, lead architecture reviews, and partner with various teams to mentor engineers.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in relevant fields, with a focus on architect-level profiles.

Skills: Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data architecture, identity resolution, data governance, and privacy compliance.

Must have experience with data ingestion processes, audience segmentation, and personalisation strategies.
