Textile Print Colour Correction for Fabric Production

We are a Melbourne-based fashion brand, KissKill, looking for an experienced textile or surface pattern designer to help refine an existing print for fabric production. The goal is to adjust the colours of our current print so that it appears softer, more tonal, and with a diffused finish on fabric, as the previous result was too high in contrast and visually harsh. The print file and a photo of the fabric strike-off will be provided. We need someone to rebalance, reduce contrast, soften the highlights, and improve midtone balance—while ensuring the design remains repeatable and suitable for factory production. Strong Photoshop skills and experience in digital textile printing and preparing files for production are required. A quick turnaround of about 3 to 5 days is needed. There may be potential for future collaboration if the project is successful.

About the client
We are a Melbourne-based fashion brand working on developing custom prints for upcoming collections. We have an in-house design direction and existing artwork, and are currently refining prints for production. This project is focused on improving how one of our prints translates onto fabric before moving into further sampling. We’re looking to build relationships with experienced textile print designers we can collaborate with on future projects as well.
