Job Description

Major League Baseball’s Live Content Program is a premiere content creation program focused on capturing and innovating engagement among baseball fans. This program provides an opportunity for young and professional creators to advance their creative careers while learning from top content creators in sports. The Live Content Creator is part of the Live Content team and is responsible for capturing video and photo content for league, club, and player social needs. This part-time, seasonal position requires coverage of MLB games and events and necessitates the use of personal professional cameras. The role involves working nights and weekends, requiring flexibility and potential travel.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of professional quality photography and videography experience
• Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras in a sports environment
• Knowledge of social media platforms and related content
• Proficient understanding of viral content
• Familiarity with MLB and current baseball storylines
• Passion for visual storytelling
• Professional conduct on and off the field
• Editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, or similar platforms is a plus
• Spanish language skills are a plus
• Interview experience is a plus
• A love for the game of baseball

Requirements

• Commit to assigned scheduled dates
• Follow directions from the Live Content Management team based in New York
• Attend home games/events to capture content for home and visiting teams
• Generate content primarily for game day and marketing promotions
• Produce content nightly and edit under tight deadlines
• Abide by MLB HR compliance policies

Compensation

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. The actual offer will consider various factors including experience, education, skills, and other relevant considerations.
