Content Producer is needed in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Editor is the editorial lead and custodian of the platform’s content voice across the West African trade ecosystem. This role commissions, edits, and publishes trade intelligence stories that serve four stakeholder pillars: Importers and Exporters, Freight and Logistics, Finance and Compliance, and Government and Policy. The Editor operates directly with the Founder pre-raise and transitions into an expanded editorial structure post-raise.

Key responsibilities:
Editorial Leadership
Commission and edit 4–6 trade intelligence stories per week across the platform’s core topics.
Maintain the editorial calendar and ensure the story pipeline is always two weeks ahead
Set and enforce the editorial style guide.
Write or co-write breaking trade alerts, weekly market digests, and monthly sector deep-dives
Translate complex supply chain data (port dwell times, FX impact, customs delays) into clear narratives. Curate and editorially framed coverage of global supply chain developments contextualised for an African trade audience. These connect what is happening to what it means for Nigerian and ECOWAS operators on the ground. Weekly or bi-weekly cadence.

Package stories for digital-first delivery: punchy leads, structured summaries, strong call-to-action
Correspondent Network
Manage a Structured Field Reporting network: border correspondents, commodity reporters, port contacts
Brief, receive, and fact-check field submissions against a rigorous four-level data verification protocol.
Expand the correspondent bench.
Platform & Audience:
Collaborate with the Founder on audience growth strategy across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email.
Tag and structure all published content for the platform’s unified content architecture.
Transition into a Chief Editor role as the editorial organisation scales.
Support onboarding of regional editors across West Africa and East/Southern Africa.
