Tahoe Film Company is a wedding videography studio focused on crafting cinematic, story-driven films for couples across the Lake Tahoe region. We specialize in capturing authentic moments with a natural, unobtrusive approach.

We are seeking a reliable and creative Wedding Content Creator to film weddings using their own smartphone. This is an entry-level opportunity—no prior professional experience is required. The focus will be on capturing candid, behind-the-scenes, and social-style content that complements our cinematic wedding films.

Requirements

- Must own a smartphone capable of shooting high-quality video (4K preferred)

- Strong interest in content creation, social media, or filmmaking

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job

- Ability to stay organized and attentive in fast-paced environments

- Reliable transportation and punctuality

- Availability on weekends (weddings typically take place Fridays–Sundays)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms

- Basic understanding of framing, movement, and storytelling

- Experience in events, hospitality, or customer service

Key Responsibilities

- Film weddings and events using your own smartphone (iPhone or Android with high-quality video capabilities)

- Capture candid moments, details, and behind-the-scenes footage throughout the day

- Follow creative direction and shot lists provided by the lead videographer

- Maintain steady framing, good composition, and awareness of lighting while filming

- Deliver raw footage promptly after each event

- Represent Tahoe Film Company professionally when interacting with clients and guests
