Job Description

We are seeking a Shopify Website Manager to help us maintain, evolve, and expand our website into a community-driven experience that goes beyond traditional e-commerce. This role involves building a platform that reflects the energy of live music culture, fostering connections, and encouraging conversation within our community.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • You’ve spent time at concerts, festivals, or similar communities.
  • You understand the lot culture, the crowd, the energy, and the unspoken vibe.
  • You care about building something authentic, not corporate.
  • You see a website as an experience and how it can reflect that.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing and developing Shopify websites.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify including theme customization (Liquid), app integrations, and performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting non-technical teams and translating needs into solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English - required)
  • Must submit a completed Form W-9.
  • Will receive a Form 1099 at year-end.

Highly Preferred

  • Experience building or supporting community platforms (chat, forums, memberships) and marketplace or multi-vendor functionality.
  • Experience with lifestyle, apparel, or culture-driven brands.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and e-commerce optimization.
  • Understanding of how content, music, and community can coexist digitally.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Managing and maintaining our Shopify site (front-end and back-end).
  • Customizing themes and implementing design updates (Liquid, HTML, CSS).
  • Supporting the internal LOTT team with day-to-day site needs and troubleshooting.
  • Optimizing site performance, speed, and mobile experience.
  • Managing and evaluating Shopify apps and integrations.

Growth Focused Work

  • Helping build out a community chat experience (forum style or integrated platforms).
  • Supporting the development of a future marketplace (multi-vendor or user-driven).
  • Improving overall user experience so the site feels intuitive and alive.
  • Recommending features that bring the concert/festival experience into digital form.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • The site runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • The LOTT team feels supported and confident using the platform.
  • New features are introduced thoughtfully and improve the experience.
  • The website feels less like a store and more like a destination.

What We’re Really Looking For

A partner who thinks long term and can see the bigger picture. Someone who can grow the brand and understands that this is about community, not just e-commerce.

How to Apply

Please include:

  • Examples of Shopify sites you’ve worked on.
  • Any experience with community features or marketplaces.
  • A brief note on your connection to live music, concerts, or festival culture.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per month

  • Flexible schedule.
