Job Description

We are looking for U.S.-based social media content creators to partner with Slickdeals on short-form, deal-focused video content. This role is a perfect fit for creators who are quick, comfortable on camera, and can produce engaging, informative videos on tight timelines. You will create 40–80 second videos highlighting specific deals or deal-related content, either on camera or with a simple background. Basic editing is required, but final editing and post-production will be handled by us.

Requirements

• U.S. based creator
• Comfortable on camera with strong presence and clarity
• Casual, natural presence, credible and approachable demeanor
• Able to interpret direction quickly and create content without a full script
• Reliable with fast turnaround times
• Familiarity with TikTok/Reels-style content (natural, not overproduced)

Nice to Have

• Experience creating UGC for brands
• Ability to vary tone (urgent deal, informative, enthusiastic, etc.)
• Basic understanding of what makes a “good deal” compelling
• Understanding of what makes compelling content for different social media platforms

How It Works

• We provide the deal or topic and key details/parameters (not a full script).
• You create a clear, engaging, conversational video explaining the deal or topic.
• Turnaround time varies based on content need, from as short as 6 hours to up to a week; flexibility is essential.

Ongoing Opportunity

• Selected creators may receive 1–2 video assignments per week.
• Work is as-needed / at-will (no guaranteed volume).

Additional Notes

• Final candidates may be asked to complete a paid test video.
• Content will be used across Slickdeals-owned channels (paid + organic).
• We seek creators who sound like a deal-obsessed friend: clear, helpful, opinionated, and straight to the point.
• Subject to background check.
• Compensation ranges from $30 to $150 per video, depending on experience and requested style.
• Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Remote, US
