Job Description

As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of customizable solutions within Salesforce based on CRM needs for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.

The role involves hands-on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows, collaborating with colleagues and customers to define technical requirements, ensuring alignment with performance goals, and leading release cycles. You will compile development guidelines, integrate business systems, and ensure adherence to security standards while communicating technical concepts effectively at an executive level.

Job Requirements

6+ years:

• Strong Salesforce development experience.

5+ years:

• Experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.

4+ years:

• Experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.

3+ years:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.

2+ years:

• Experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.

Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management.

Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator required.

Desired Skills

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Experience with Conga and Drawloop (beneficial but not required).
• Familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, especially working with FedRAMP-compliant tools and environments (beneficial but not required).

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree.

Location

• Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at the time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable.
• Position is a hybrid schedule (Non-Negotiable): Required onsite days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays; remote eligible days are Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Working hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsoring is not available.
• Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position.
• 40 hours per week.
• HYBRID schedule (Non-Negotiable): Required onsite days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays; remote eligible days are Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
