Job Description

The agency is dedicated to promoting healthy lives in healthy communities, supported by four divisions: Environmental Affairs, Healthcare Quality, Public Health, and Operations. This position plays a critical role in converting agency forms into the automation software OpenText LiquidOffice, with the primary goal of supporting remote agency staff and promoting a paperless environment. Responsibilities include following best practices to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, supporting Electronic Content Management (ECM) systems, and collaborating with various departments to develop electronic document workflows. Candidates must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to foster productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with form designs, automation, workflow, and processing in E-Forms solutions
  • 3+ years of experience with system administration of an E-Form system
  • 3+ years of experience with common electronic document formats
  • 3+ years of experience with document import processes
  • 3+ years of experience with document setup and workflows into EDM systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases

Preferred Skills

  • OpenText LiquidOffice E-Forms
  • OpenText ApplicationXtender

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required.

Certifications

No specific certifications required.

Additional Information

This position is open due to rebid for two incumbents. The position is expected to require 40 hours of work per week with flexible hours, including potential remote work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Selected personnel must sign confidentiality agreements, and all sources of code will be owned by the South Carolina Department of Public Health. The agency will not accept extra costs apart from established contract rates. Payments will be based on timely timesheet submissions.

The selected candidate will work closely with the ECM Section Manager and Enterprise Applications Director, and adhere to IT standards, policies, and security requirements while ensuring streamlined workflows and data accuracy.
