2D Character Designer for Animated Series

We are One Block Production, an independent film and animation studio based in New York City, United States. We are seeking a skilled 2D character designer to help shape the visual identity of an upcoming animated series currently in early development. The primary focus of this project is to create original, memorable and animation-ready character designs with clear silhouettes, expressive faces, and strong personality. The work involves developing original concept designs, polished character turnarounds (front, side, back), and expression sheets. The visual direction should be stylized and expressive, fitting within a cohesive look suitable for modern animated series. We are looking for an artist who understands animation-friendly design and welcomes creative collaboration. There is potential for ongoing work as our projects and team grow.
