Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Camera Operator to bring visual stories to life through expert filming and videography skills. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for a variety of projects, including promotional videos, live events, and post-production content. Your creativity and technical proficiency will help craft compelling visual narratives that engage audiences and elevate our brand presence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and collaborate with talented production teams to produce visually stunning content. (Must have own equipment)

Responsibilities

  • Operate professional cameras and filming equipment to capture high-quality footage for diverse projects.
  • Set up lighting, framing, and camera angles to ensure optimal visual composition.
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and editors to understand project requirements and deliver footage that aligns with creative vision.
  • Manage camera settings such as focus, exposure, white balance, and shutter speed to achieve desired effects.
  • Assist in post-production processes by organizing footage, applying basic edits, and supporting editing teams using software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
  • Incorporate motion graphics or visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Illustrator when needed for enhanced storytelling.
  • Maintain all camera equipment, accessories, and related gear to ensure optimal performance and safety during shoots.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in videography, filming, or camera operation within a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of photography principles and composition techniques.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator for post-production enhancements.
  • Knowledge of lighting setups, camera operation techniques, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
