I am a YouTube creator producing military history and remembrance videos that focus on real soldiers and their graves. I am looking for a composer to create a custom orchestral piece with a solemn, respectful, and reflective tone. The music should feel dignified and emotionally moving, while staying restrained and not overly dramatic or cinematic. Style references include Nimrod from Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations and Hymn to the Fallen by John Williams, focusing on tone, pacing, and structure. The ideal track will be strings-led, with a slow tempo, gradual and controlled emotional build, minimal or no percussion, and sustained, legato string writing. A very subtle and atmospheric choir is optional, but should not be dominant. The music will accompany grave and remembrance footage, requiring a sincere, respectful, and understated sound.
