Job Description

ScandyCandy is looking for a creative, energetic Social Media Content Creator to help capture fun, eye-catching content for our growing candy brand. ScandyCandy is all about colorful Scandinavian candy, playful store experiences, stylish displays, and a modern, feel-good brand atmosphere. Our content should feel fun, bright, clean, trendy, and exciting — the kind of content that makes people want to visit, taste, share, and come back for more.

This is a freelance, per-project role. Each project may include visiting one of our ScandyCandy stores, attending a ScandyCandy event, capturing content for a product launch, promotion, pop-up, seasonal campaign, or another brand occasion agreed in advance. The goal is to create photo and video content that we can use for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, ads, and other social media platforms.

Requirements

• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Reels, or similar platforms
• Portfolio, Instagram, TikTok, or examples of past content required
• Must be able to travel to agreed ScandyCandy locations or events
• Must have your own phone, camera, or equipment for filming content
• Basic editing skills are a plus

What You’ll Do

• Capture fun, high-quality video and photo content for ScandyCandy
• Create content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, and social media ads
• Visit ScandyCandy stores, events, launches, pop-ups, or other brand occasions as needed
• Capture candy, displays, packaging, customers, team members, store atmosphere, and brand moments
• Create content that feels colorful, modern, playful, and on-brand
• Suggest creative ideas, trends, hooks, transitions, and content angles
• Film short-form content that feels natural, engaging, and social-first
• Deliver raw content and/or edited content depending on the project
• Work independently while following ScandyCandy’s brand direction

You Are

• Creative, outgoing, and comfortable capturing content in public or retail environments
• Experienced with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and short-form video content
• Good at spotting fun, visual, and shareable moments
• Aware of current social media trends and what performs well online
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for color, lighting, angles, and presentation
• Reliable, organized, and able to deliver content on time
• Comfortable receiving direction and feedback
• Excited about candy, retail, lifestyle content, and creating feel-good brand moments

Project Details

• This is a freelance / per-project opportunity
• Each project may include a store visit, event, launch, promotion, pop-up, seasonal campaign, or other ScandyCandy brand occasion
• Payment is per project, based on the content package agreed in advance
• Projects may include raw videos, edited Reels/TikToks, photos, Stories, or a mix of content
• Project details, location, timing, deliverables, and payment will be confirmed before each project
• Opportunities for ongoing monthly projects may be available for the right creator
