Job Description

We are looking for a reliable part-time YouTube videographer and video editor to work with us on a regular monthly basis. This is an ongoing freelance/contract role. We need someone who can film content 1–2 times per month, edit the videos, and help create polished YouTube content for a personal branding-focused channel.

Responsibilities

• Film YouTube content 1–2 times per month
• Shoot interview-style, personal branding, and business-related video content
• Handle camera setup, lighting, audio, framing, and basic production direction
• Edit YouTube videos with clean pacing, captions, music, transitions, graphics, and basic color correction
• Create short clips from long-form videos for social media when needed
• Help with thumbnails or coordinate thumbnail design
• Upload or assist with YouTube video setup
• Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and basic YouTube SEO
• Suggest ways to improve video quality, retention, and engagement
• Work with us consistently each month as a long-term content partner

Requirements

• Experience filming and editing YouTube content
• Comfortable with interview-style and personal branding videos
• Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
• Has own camera, lighting, audio equipment, and editing software preferred
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work locally for filming days
• Interested in a long-term monthly working relationship

Schedule

• Video shooting: 1–2 times per month
• Editing: ongoing, based on the monthly content schedule
• Flexible schedule depending on project needs

Compensation

This is a freelance/contract role. Please include your rates when applying. We are open to:

• Per-shoot pricing
• Per-video editing pricing
• Monthly retainer pricing
• Package pricing for 1–2 filming days plus editing and YouTube support

Pay: $25.87 - $45.00 per hour
