Job Description

Accenture is seeking experienced Graph Database Developers with strong expertise in Neo4j (and/or Spanner) to support the design, development, and operation of a production-grade graph platform. This role will span the full lifecycle—from schema design and data ingestion to API development and consumption layers.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote (Anywhere within the United States)

Interview Timeline: Candidates will be interviewed by mid-next week

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a production-grade Neo4j graph database
• Architect and model high-performance graph schemas optimized for traversal and query efficiency
• Develop, test, and deploy scalable graph platforms and services
• Design and operate ETL/ELT pipelines to hydrate graph data from multiple source systems
• Build and manage REST and GraphQL APIs for application consumption
• Develop Application-to-Application (A2A) endpoints to support agent orchestration workflows
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance across environments

Preferred/Desired Skills

Experience with Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS)

Knowledge of knowledge graph or ontology design principles

Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Kafka

Exposure to LLM / Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integrations with graph data

Experience with cloud-native deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Neo4j and strong proficiency in Cypher query language
• Proven experience hydrating graph databases at scale
• Strong backend development skills in one or more of the following:
• Python
• Java
• Node.js
• Experience with A2A protocols and agent-based integration patterns
• Understanding of data governance practices
