Requirements

• Deep proficiency in T-SQL (SQL Server), including the use of Window Functions, CTEs, and Columnstore Indexes for performance optimization of large datasets.
• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory or similar cloud orchestration tools.
• Experience with Python or C# for scripting, along with a solid understanding of Git/Azure DevOps (with no manual changes in production).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures (Star Schema, Snowflake, or Medallion) for high-speed reporting and advanced analytics.
• Develop and monitor complex workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF), prioritizing automation and “Data-as-Code” principles.
• Write, audit, and optimize high-performance SQL queries, stored procedures, and views, addressing complex “Query Plan” and “Indexing” challenges.
• Implement automated validation scripts and transformation logic to ensure data quality with a “single source of truth.”
• Collaborate with BI and Dev teams to integrate data pipelines into the broader software ecosystem via CI/CD and version control.
