Job Description

We are seeking a Python Developer to support the development of backend services and APIs within a cloud-native AWS environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable integration solutions, working across distributed systems, and collaborating within agile engineering teams. You will play a key role in developing APIs for data marshalling and backend processing, helping deliver efficient and reliable solutions that support enterprise-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python within AWS environments.
• Build APIs to support data marshalling and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions.
• Support API integrations leveraging MuleSoft as the API management layer.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong Python backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience working within AWS cloud environments.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of scalable backend architecture and data integration concepts.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within agile delivery teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or other API gateway/integration platforms.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale integration projects.
• Knowledge of secure API development best practices.

Additional Information

• It is a Hybrid position in Orlando, FL.
• Work Mode: 3 days a week Onsite.
