Job Description

Profound is a marketplace where clients book independent professionals, such as photographers, for paid sessions across many categories. Experts build trust through strong profiles—especially clear profile photos and a credible image gallery, so quality photography directly supports how they show up to clients.

What you’ll do:

• Shoot professional headshots and gallery-style stills suited for online professional profiles (clean, well-lit, approachable, accurate representation of the person).
• Coordinate scheduling with subjects and arrive prepared with a practical shot list for marketplace use.
• Edit and deliver agreed file formats within the turnaround in your contract.
• Communicate professionally and represent Profound’s standards for trust and clarity in visual presentation.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• A portfolio demonstrating portraits/people photography and consistent results across lighting conditions.
• Your own equipment appropriate for on-location or small-studio-style shoots.
• Reliability, punctuality, and experience working with non-model clients.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor and providing any standard insurance you use for client work if required.

Location & Schedule

Primary area: Remote apply; shoots are assigned by metro. Regional travel may be required. Engagements are project-based; volume varies.

Payment

Rates set per SOW. Pay ranges from $30.00 - $100.00 per hour.
