Client: Epic Productions

Location: Atlanta, GA

Contract: Part-time

Job Description

We are currently looking to add talented wedding photographers and videographers to our growing creative team. These roles are contract-based and ideal for professionals who are confident covering full wedding days and occasionally assisting with engagement sessions, portraits, or other smaller shoots. Our goal is to work with experienced creatives who consistently produce clean, well-exposed imagery or footage, show up prepared, communicate clearly, and represent our brand with professionalism throughout the wedding day. Beyond technical ability, we value individuals who can take initiative, guide couples confidently, manage timelines effectively, capture all important moments, and create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We often describe this role as being the “professional friend” — someone who is personable, fun to work with, and still highly organized and focused on delivering great results.

Requirements

Lead Photographer Requirements

  • Preferably Canon camera systems (not strictly required)
  • Minimum gear expectations include:
  • Two camera bodies (2018 or newer)
  • At least three lenses capable of covering 35mm, 50mm, and 70–200mm focal ranges
  • External flash
  • Strong experience using clean indoor flash techniques (no mixed lighting)
  • Ability to control bounce flash and ambient lighting
  • Comfortable photographing a full wedding day independently
  • Willingness to upload RAW files and maintain backups for 45 days
  • Professional and personable with clients, couples, and vendors
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Portfolio demonstrating consistent, timeless wedding photography
  • Ability to photograph engagement or bridal sessions

(Second shooters are not required to supply a full gear kit.)

Lead Videographer Requirements

  • Canon or Sony camera systems
  • Minimum equipment expectations:
  • Two camera bodies
  • Wide and zoom lenses
  • Two microphones or audio sources for wedding-day audio
  • Gimbal or stabilization system
  • Lighting source
  • Drone capability is considered a plus
  • Ability to cover wedding days independently with stable footage and clean audio
  • Consistent exposure and white balance (no mixed lighting)
  • Reliable workflow for transferring footage and maintaining backups for 45 days
  • A polished demo reel that demonstrates steady, well-lit storytelling

(Second shooters may not need to supply all equipment.)

Professional Appearance Expectations

All team members must maintain a professional appearance that aligns with the formality of a wedding environment. The goal is to blend naturally with guests while maintaining a polished and professional presence.

  • Black or neutral-colored clothing
  • Avoid jeans, polos, shorts, or athletic shoes
  • Clothing should match the formal tone of upscale weddings

Payment Terms

Payment is processed after all RAW files or video footage have been received and verified by our headquarters team. Payment is issued the Friday after file delivery has been received and confirmed by our headquarters.

Onboarding & Certification

Before receiving your first booking, all shooters must complete approximately 6–7 hours of online onboarding training covering our brand standards, shooting approach, and file delivery workflow. A short certification assessment must also be completed. This onboarding ensures that every team member delivers a consistent experience and high level of quality across all events.
