Job Description

The position is for a Web Designer Temp at LSA Advancement, which champions the liberal arts at the University of Michigan. The role involves collaborating with development communicators to provide guidance and maintenance for web-based communications, designing and implementing updates to web pages and websites, and using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to create templates, components, and pages. The individual will report directly to the development marketing communications manager.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of a content management platform such as WordPress, AEM, Wix, Drupal, etc.
  • Understand the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to meet federal accessibility requirements
  • Familiarity with navigating website analytics dashboards to identify trends and results
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX) design
  • Preference for individuals with demonstrated ability to collaborate with LSA Web Services and familiarity with LSA’s website hierarchy and architecture.

Work Locations

Additional Information

The salary for this position is $18/hour.
