Job Description

This is a remote position. The Application Developer designs, builds, tests, and maintains software applications for mobile, web, or desktop platforms, ensuring high-quality, functional code that meets user needs. They collaborate with teams to translate requirements into technical specifications, optimize performance, and manage the full development lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

Software Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code for new applications while modifying existing software to add features or fix bugs.

Testing & Debugging: Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and security.

Collaboration: Work with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly applications.

Documentation: Create technical documentation for code, design, and user manuals to guide future development and maintenance.

Deployment: Manage the deployment, maintenance, and updates of applications across various platforms.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, C++, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL).

Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Flutter).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

Experience: Usually 0–5+ years in software development, depending on seniority.
