Job Description

Urgent requirement for a Mulesoft Developer on a contract basis in Melbourne. The role involves API and Integration Development, Utilities System Integration, API Management & Governance, DevOps & Deployment, and Testing & Support.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• API & Integration Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy APIs using MuleSoft (Experience APIs, Process APIs, System APIs).
• Build integrations between SAP IS-U / Billing systems, CRM platforms, Payment gateways, AMI / Smart Meter systems, and Data warehouse & analytics platforms.
• Develop REST/SOAP web services and real-time integrations.
• Utilities System Integration:
• Support integrations for Move-in / Move-out processes, Billing & invoicing, Meter data ingestion, Customer onboarding, and Payment processing.
• Implement batch and real-time data exchange solutions.
• Ensure high availability and performance for high transaction volumes.
• API Management & Governance:
• Design and implement API-led connectivity architecture.
• Use Anypoint API Manager for security policies, rate limiting, and OAuth/JWT authentication.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards and maintain API documentation in Anypoint Exchange.
• DevOps & Deployment:
• Deploy applications via CloudHub, on-premise runtime, and hybrid deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor applications using Anypoint Monitoring.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Testing & Support:
• Perform unit testing using MUnit and support SIT / UAT phases.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and conduct root cause analysis for integration failures.

Required Skills & Experience:

Mandatory:

• 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, REST/SOAP services, and API-led connectivity.
• Experience in utilities system integration.
• Good understanding of messaging systems (JMS, MQ, Kafka).

Preferred:

• Experience integrating with SAP IS-U.
• Knowledge of utilities billing and customer lifecycle processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• MuleSoft certification (preferred).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (preferred).

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension.
