Job Description

Everlasting Moments is seeking ‘A’ and ‘B’ shooters for both photo and video. ‘A’ shooters are experienced professionals who have shot over 50 weddings, while ‘B’ shooters have experience with 25-50 weddings. A shooters will direct the wedding shoot, liaise with clients, and supervise a team of photographers and videographers. B shooters will assist but are not required to take a leadership role. Key attributes for success include a passion for photography/videography, technical proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, ownership of required equipment, and a humble attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum 50 weddings shot as a shooter for A shooters; lower experience qualifies for B or entry-level positions.
  • Proficiency in operating SLR Cameras.
  • Proficiency with Drone operation for videographers.
  • Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills and high command of English.

Videographer bonus: Knowledge of creating a Same-Day Edit (SDE)

Equipment Requirements (Photo)

  • 2x SLR camera bodies with fast auto focus and dual card recording.
  • 2x Camera flashes.
  • Spare Batteries.

Equipment Requirements (Video)

  • 2x 4K capable camera bodies with fast auto focus, 60FPS shooting, and dual card recording.
  • 32bit float handheld 2 channel recorder.
  • Wireless lav kit.
  • DJI Ronin RS2 Pro or better Gimbal.
  • 4K Drone.
  • Fluid head tripod.
  • Camera mounted 10W+ light.

Additional Information

This role is not suitable for the faint of heart. If you are an A shooter, you should be accustomed to this type of work and possess the drive for it. Rates are commensurate with experience, with a pay range of $20.00 - $100.00 per hour. This is a freelance position that requires commuting to Detroit, MI 48243, and the work location is in person.
