Job Description

This is a remote position and a contract position for 1 FTE. A daily rate is available.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will facilitate the deployment of microservice workloads and optimise cloud-native infrastructure within a high-availability ecosystem. This role is essential for a DevOps Engineer to ensure the stability and scalability of containerised system landscapes. Only occasional onsite visits to Germany are required (circa 95% remote, 5% onsite).

English is the only language requirement.

Requirements

  • Senior professional experience in DevOps Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in build processes and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of Continuous Deployment (CD) using ArgoCD and Helm, including Helm Chart support.
  • Significant experience with microservices and container orchestration via Kubernetes.
  • Strong technical background in Kafka messaging, CEPH object storage, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (C1 level).
  • Eligibility Residency in the EU, EEC, UK, or Switzerland.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in adapting architectural design patterns for hybrid-cloud target platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure-based infrastructure and basic scripting for automation.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems in a DevOps environment.
  • German B2 level is preferred.
