Seeking Japanese Traditional Instrumentalist for Film/Score Project [Urgent]
I’m currently looking for a musician or instrumentalist who is able to record traditional Japanese instruments for an original score project I am working on. I’m specifically looking for players who can record instruments such as koto, shamisen, shakuhachi, or other traditional Japanese instruments. The workflow will involve me sending over cues, references, or musical directions for the performer to record remotely and deliver high quality audio files. The musician must have good proficiency on their instrument, be able to record clean, professional audio from a home studio, be open to revisions and collaborative feedback, and communicate remotely throughout the scoring process. I am seeking examples of previous recordings, details about instruments played, information about the recording setup, and location or time zone if available. Looking forward to collaborating on this film/score project.
