Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Dance Choreographer to inspire and cultivate young dancers’ talents through innovative choreography and engaging dance programs. In this role, you will design and record vibrant hip hop dance routines that foster creativity and confidence among students. Your energetic leadership will motivate youth to explore their artistic potential while ensuring a positive, inclusive environment that celebrates movement and self-expression. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of performers and dance enthusiasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in choreographing and teaching dance to youth or students of diverse ages.
• Strong background in hip hop specific dance.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children.
• Prior experience in organizing performances or dance showcases is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop original dance choreography for youth classes and performances.
• Teach engaging dance lessons tailored to students’ skill levels, emphasizing proper technique, safety, and artistic expression.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, discipline, and teamwork among young dancers.
• Organize rehearsals for upcoming performances, guiding students through routines with clear instructions and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with program coordinators to plan seasonal curricula and special projects that inspire participation and showcase student talent.

Additional Information

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
