Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Developer for a 12-month remote position. Ideally, candidates should be located in California, within one hour of either the JCC San Francisco or Sacramento office. The successful candidate will have substantial expertise in software design, development, and architecture, reflecting mastery in all necessary software platforms.

Requirements

Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software design, development, and architecture.

Demonstrated Experience in:

• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to collaborate with business experts and translate complex concepts into non-technical language.
• Enterprise Application Architecture: Experienced in multi-tier, distributed web-based systems using VB.NET, .NET, C#, Angular, and Microsoft Cloud technologies.
• Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Lead all aspects from requirements analysis to post-production support.
• Server Platforms: Knows how to architect and maintain servers like Lucee/ColdFusion, WebLogic, and Apache.
• Database Engineering: Experience with Oracle 19c database design and optimization.
• Cloud Architecture & Modernization: Skilled in Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.
• Security & Compliance: Capability to integrate secure payment systems and manage Azure Active Directory.
• Networking & Infrastructure: Deep understanding of TCP/IP and VPNs for secure cloud networks.
• Deployment, Migration & Automation: Experience with seamless deployment strategies and Linux environment management.
• CI/CD & Development Tools: Implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• UX/UI & Reporting: Designing user interfaces and reporting dashboards.
• Design Patterns & Testing: Application of design patterns and production of test plans.
• Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Delivery Track Record: Consistently delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.

Analytical Experience

• Requirements translation and solution evaluation to guide decision-making processes.
• Complex problem solving and documentation development.

Development Tools

• Version control expertise (Git, GitHub).
• Experienced with coding tools and API testing platforms.
• Proficient in automation and CI/CD processes.

General Skills

• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Experienced in both traditional and agile project management methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
