Job Description

TUSHY is looking for a highly creative and versatile Videographer & Content Editor (Contract-to-Hire) to help bring our brand to life across social, paid media, web, and campaign content. This role requires a storyteller who understands pacing, lighting, composition, and how to feel premium in scrappy productions. The position involves working closely with internal creative and marketing teams to concept, shoot, edit, and deliver high-performing content. The job is currently hybrid, with an expectation of being present at least 3 days a week in Dumbo, Brooklyn (NY).

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience editing and producing video content for consumer brands, agencies, or creators.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and creative storytelling.
• Experience filming and editing direct-response ads and performance creative.
• Experience shooting in small spaces with confidence and creativity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques for lifestyle and product-focused shoots.
• Experience with set design, prop styling, or art direction.
• Ability to work quickly and independently while balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Understanding of color grading.
• Strong sense of pacing, humor, internet culture, and content performance.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Bonus points for experience in DTC, lifestyle, wellness, or humor-forward brands.
• Passion for poop humor is encouraged.

Compensation

• $40/hr
• Estimated 40 hours per week.
• Weekly touch points with the marketing team for prioritization and alignment.
